Quantum Leap Skydiving Center is owned and operated by Jim and Scott Cowan. The Cowan brothers have been involved in the sport of skydiving since childhood. Their family owned Ripcord West Parachute Center serving the St. Louis area during the seventies and early eighties. Jim and Scott both started skydiving at the age of sixteen and are now licensed expert skydivers and instructors with more than forty years of experience and over 12,000 jumps between them. As members of the United States Parachute Formation Team (picture below), Jim and Scott have won four World Championships and countless National Titles since 1990. Since that time, we have trained over 50,000 first jump students with no serious injuries.
